Le'Aura Luciano and Paula have been working together since 2002. Le'Aura is the Beauty & Fashion Director for Urban Latino Magazine and is a New York-based celibrity stylist and makeup artist.

Safe fun

Our skin is our largest organ. It protects us from injury, infections, and regulates our body's temperature. It stores water, fat, and vitamin D. But for the one in five Americans who will be diagnosed with skin cancer within the next year, skin is a paintful reminder of past sun damage.

More than 90 percent of skin cancer is caused by sun exposure, when sun damage may be the easiest to prevent. Robert Miller, M.D of Wellspring Oncology weighs in, "Most people are surprised to learn that even UV exposure over short periods of time can still dramatically increase the risk of cancer."

Due to the amount of sun damage that can accumulate earlier in life, children and teens need to be protected. "Many cases of cancer are connected to severe burns from adolescent stage in life", says Miller. "Men are also twice as likely to develop skin cancer than women. It is the most common form of cancer in men over 50". Miller still advises, there is no suc thing as a safe than that involves any form of UV exposure. Darker pigmentation is the skin's way of protecting itself - it signifies damage. The only safe tan is a sunless tan"

My best advice is variety. Change is key to your success and will

get you into that new dress or looking really good for your photo shoot.

Lack of variety will burn less calories, levels off strength gains and will set you up for injury. If you want strength, power endurance, speed, agility, stamina, or any other new skills that will make you look and feel great, you have to train for each one separately.

What you eat will affect you far more than the most versatile exercise. You are on the right track if you're thinking that variety in your diet is next on the list. To take advantage of all the nutrients that are beneficial to gain muscle, lose fat, avoid disease, and maintain mental health, one must eat from all food groups often. But that's another conversation.

Till announces that color trends are moving high maintenance highlighting and towards more easily managed solid colors.

With the summer here, Till suggests a good daily moisturizing conditioner to maintain the hair's color balance.

We have all seen many people starting on their career path and simply don't have the means in this economy to do a full shoot. Therefore, I have created a mini starter package. The PB Starter Package is $350 including hair & makeup - where talent will be up and running.

We are booking on the hour, at the 508 west 26th street, studio 9g (between 10 & 11th). A $200 deposit is required to book your session. The $150 balance is due on the day you shoot.
